Life Update

Hey everyone,

I feel like I am constantly apologising for not being present but that seems to be life at the moment!

Sometimes it is difficult to keep all of the balls in the air at once! It seems to be an appropriate metaphor for my life at present.

I am currently writing a book on the executed women of Australia which I need to finish before the end of the year so I can get it published before the Adelaide Fringe Festival in March 2026.

The writing has been a little frustrating with the very early women as there is little to no information about their lives before the crimes they were executed for.

Social media presence is a constant challenge for me as I honestly dont know what people want to see and why they would want to watch me! The old imposter syndrome is strong with that!

At the Geelong Gaol we have been incredibly busy with no less than 4 big events in October and November.

We had a successful sleepover for Lazarus to raise money for the homeless and others needing assistance.

This past weekend we had our first Geelong Gaol Dark Arts Expo which sold out! So many wonderful stalls to browse and it will be back next year!

And we still have the Geelong Comedy Festival and our first Final Muster talk with John Killick and Doug Morgan debating if NSW or Victoria was better for bank robbing!!

So that is a small update from me about where I am at the moment. I will have more stories about the executed women as I progress towards the shows in Adelaide.
