Finally, back into a normal rhythm after returning from the Adelaide Fringe. It was a great 2 weeks, and I met with lots of great people who seemed to enjoy both the tour and presentation at the Adelaide Gaol. I am hoping to return in 2027.
Im back in the shop at the Geelong Gaol on Tuesdays now and doing my regular Locked up with History tour on Sunday afternoons chatting about the history of the Geelong, Victoria and Australia with a criminal focus!
My book In Her Words is now available for sale here on this website or through the Geelong Gaol and Adelaide Gaol. You can also email me and I can send through an invoice for you.
If you already have a copy, I would love to hear what you think of it!
I am about to pitch the show that I presented at the Adelaide Gaol and Geelong Gaol to tour around Victoria. If you have a library or museum, or any other venue who would like to see this presentation, please get in touch with me.
But the exciting thing is I am about to turn the stories of these women into individual podcasts. I have recently found out that I have 500 subscribers! I am stoked that so many people like listening to what I have to say.
On that end, if you have a story you think would make a good podcast for Locked up with History, let me know. I am wanting to concentrate on the womens stories in crime, not just those who were executed going forward, along with a few stories of the prisoners from Geelong Gaol.
Thats it from me for now
